MAR Diving
Located at Doxa Beach Hotel, MAR Diving is the only dive centre in Zavora, giving you unique access to pristine and untouched reefs. With small group sizes, you’ll gain personal, hands-on diving experience while learning directly from our experienced guides, who have in-depth knowledge of the region’s ecosystems and marine wildlife.
Accommodation is right on the beach, just steps from the ocean, and our fully equipped dive centre provides everything you need — from gear hire to tanks and a filling station. It’s the ideal setting to develop your diving skills, contribute to marine conservation, and immerse yourself in Zavora’s rich underwater world.
Doxa Accomodation
Interns can choose to stay at Zavora Lab or at Doxa Beach Hotel. The hotel is just a 15-minute walk from the lab and is located right next to the Dive Centre, making it easy to access your dives. At Doxa, you can stay in shared accommodation with a sea-view braai area — perfect for socialising with other interns — or choose the full-board Ocean suite for extra comfort. Both options provide a welcoming environment where you can fully enjoy your time in Zavora while participating in our marine internship program.
